Job Summary: We are looking for a hardworking and dependable Wooden Pallets Worker to join our manufacturing team. The successful candidate will be responsible for constructing, repairing, and maintaining wooden pallets used for shipping and storage. This role involves using hand tools, machinery, and a variety of wood materials. The ideal candidate should have a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Pallet Construction: Assemble wooden pallets by measuring, cutting, and nailing wood pieces together according to specifications.
• Repair Work: Inspect damaged pallets and repair or replace broken boards, nails, and other components to ensure pallets are safe and functional.
• Material Handling: Load and unload wood materials, ensuring that workstations are properly stocked with necessary supplies.
• Machinery Operation: Safely operate saws, nail guns, and other equipment used in the construction and repair of pallets.
• Quality Control: Examine finished pallets to ensure they meet company standards and are free from defects or hazards.
• Inventory Management: Keep track of materials and supplies, reporting any shortages or reordering needs to the supervisor.
• Safety Compliance: Adhere to all safety guidelines and procedures, wearing protective gear and maintaining a clean and organized workspace.
• Maintenance: Perform routine maintenance on tools and equipment, ensuring they are in good working condition.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience in woodworking, carpentry, or a similar field is preferred.
• Familiarity with hand tools and woodworking machinery.
• Ability to lift heavy objects and work in a physically demanding environment.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to measure and cut wood accurately.
• Good problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
• Willingness to work in varying weather conditions, as some tasks may be performed outdoors.

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull up to 50 pounds.
• Capable of standing, bending, and working for extended periods.
• Comfortable working in environments with dust, noise, and varying temperatures.
