Job Overview:

We are seeking a friendly, energetic, and attentive Restaurant Server to provide excellent dining experiences for our guests. The ideal candidate will be responsible for taking orders, serving food and beverages, and ensuring guest satisfaction throughout their dining experience. You should be able to handle a fast-paced environment while maintaining a positive attitude and strong communication with the kitchen and fellow staff members.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Greet guests warmly and guide them to their tables.
  • Present menus and provide detailed information on dishes, specials, and beverages.
  • Take accurate food and drink orders, entering them into the point-of-sale system.
  • Serve food and beverages promptly and ensure guests have everything they need during their meal.
  • Monitor tables and anticipate guest needs, providing refills or extra items when necessary.
  • Handle guest inquiries and complaints in a polite and efficient manner.
  • Clear tables and clean dining areas after guests leave.
  • Assist with setup, breakdown, and cleaning of the restaurant before and after shifts.
  • Collaborate with kitchen and bar staff to ensure smooth service.
  • Process guest payments accurately and thank them for dining with us.

Skills & Qualifications:

  • Proven experience as a Restaurant Server or in a similar hospitality role.
  • Strong customer service skills and a positive attitude.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and multitask effectively.
  • Basic math skills for handling payments and cash registers.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  • Ability to stand and walk for long periods, as well as lift and carry trays or dishes.
  • Knowledge of food safety and hygiene standards.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Previous experience in fine dining or high-volume restaurants.
  • Knowledge of food, wine, and beverage pairings.
  • Familiarity with restaurant POS systems.
