Job Overview:

We are looking for a skilled Mechanic to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining various types of vehicles and machinery. The ideal mechanic will have strong problem-solving skills, a keen eye for detail, and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team. Experience with a range of mechanical systems and components is essential.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Diagnose mechanical issues in vehicles or machinery using diagnostic tools and methods.
  • Perform routine maintenance, including oil changes, tire rotations, and brake checks.
  • Repair or replace faulty components, such as engines, transmissions, and electrical systems.
  • Conduct thorough inspections and identify potential issues before they become major problems.
  • Maintain and repair a variety of mechanical systems, including engines, drivetrains, and hydraulic systems.
  • Follow all safety protocols and regulations while performing repairs and maintenance.
  • Communicate effectively with clients to explain repair needs and provide estimates.
  • Keep detailed records of repairs and maintenance performed.
  • Ensure the work area is clean and organized, and that tools and equipment are properly maintained.

Skills & Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Certification from a vocational or trade school in automotive repair or a related field (ASE certification preferred).
  • Proven experience as a Mechanic with hands-on knowledge of mechanical systems and components.
  • Ability to use diagnostic tools, hand tools, and machinery effectively.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication skills and customer service orientation.
  • Physical ability to lift heavy parts and work in various positions.
  • Valid driver’s license and a clean driving record.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with specific types of vehicles or machinery (e.g., diesel engines, heavy equipment).
  • Knowledge of modern automotive technologies and computerized systems.
  • Familiarity with preventive maintenance programs and fleet management.
