Job Summary: We are seeking a dedicated and efficient Meat Plant Worker to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for processing beef and chicken products in a clean, safe, and efficient manner. This role involves working in a fast-paced environment, handling raw meat, operating machinery, and ensuring that products meet quality and safety standards. Prior experience in meat processing or a similar environment is preferred but not required.

Key Responsibilities:

• Meat Processing: Cut, trim, debone, and package beef and chicken products according to company standards and customer specifications.
• Machinery Operation: Operate various types of processing equipment, including slicers, grinders, and packaging machines, ensuring safe and efficient use.
• Quality Control: Inspect meat products for quality, checking for any defects or abnormalities, and ensuring they meet company standards.
• Sanitation: Clean and sanitize workstations, equipment, and tools to maintain a hygienic work environment, adhering to all food safety regulations.
• Material Handling: Load and unload raw materials and finished products, ensuring proper storage and inventory management.
• Safety Compliance: Follow all safety protocols and guidelines to prevent accidents and injuries, including wearing appropriate protective gear.
• Team Collaboration: Work closely with other team members to meet production targets, communicate effectively to ensure smooth operations.
• Record Keeping: Maintain accurate records of production output, equipment maintenance, and any issues encountered during shifts.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous experience in meat processing or food production is preferred.
• Ability to work in cold environments and handle raw meat.
• Knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices.
• Strong attention to detail and the ability to work quickly and efficiently.
• Physical stamina and the ability to lift heavy objects (up to 50 pounds).
• Good communication skills and the ability to follow instructions.
• Willingness to work flexible hours, including early mornings, late nights, and weekends.

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to stand for long periods and perform repetitive tasks.
• Capable of lifting, carrying, and moving up to 50 pounds.
• Comfortable working in cold and sometimes wet environments.
