Job Summary: We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Factory Mattress Worker to join our manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for assembling and inspecting mattresses, operating machinery, and ensuring quality standards are met. This role requires physical stamina, attention to detail, and a commitment to producing high-quality products.

Key Responsibilities:

• Mattress Assembly: Assemble mattress components, including springs, foam layers, covers, and other materials, according to specifications.
• Operating Machinery: Safely operate machinery such as sewing machines, cutting tools, and pressing equipment used in mattress production.
• Quality Control: Inspect finished mattresses for defects, ensuring that they meet company standards and customer expectations.
• Material Handling: Load and unload materials, ensuring that production lines are stocked with necessary components.
• Packaging: Package finished mattresses for shipping, including wrapping, labeling, and preparing them for transportation.
• Maintenance: Perform routine maintenance on equipment and report any issues to the supervisor to prevent production delays.
• Safety Compliance: Follow all safety guidelines and procedures to maintain a safe work environment.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous experience in a manufacturing or assembly role is preferred.
• Ability to lift heavy objects and stand for extended periods.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions.
• Basic mechanical skills and familiarity with manufacturing equipment.
• Good communication skills and the ability to work as part of a team.
• Willingness to work flexible hours, including overtime if necessary.

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to lift, push, pull, and carry up to 50 pounds.
• Capable of standing, bending, and moving for extended periods.
• Comfortable working in a factory environment with varying temperatures.
