Job Title: Air Condition Electrician
Location: Romania
Job Type: Full-Time/Part-Time
Job Summary: We are looking for an experienced and qualified Air Condition Electrician to install, maintain, and repair electrical wiring, systems, and components of air conditioning (AC) units. The ideal candidate will have technical knowledge of electrical systems, HVAC systems, and experience troubleshooting and ensuring that all installations meet safety standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Installation of Electrical Systems: Install electrical wiring, panels, and components for air conditioning units, including central air systems and split systems.
- Maintenance and Repair: Troubleshoot and repair electrical issues within AC units, ensuring systems are functioning safely and efficiently.
- Safety Compliance: Ensure all electrical installations meet local electrical codes and safety standards, and use appropriate safety measures, such as personal protective equipment (PPE).
- System Upgrades: Upgrade and modify air conditioning systems by replacing outdated wiring, circuits, and electrical panels as needed.
- Testing and Troubleshooting: Perform diagnostic tests on AC units to identify electrical problems, using multimeters, voltage testers, and other tools.
- Preventive Maintenance: Perform regular inspections and maintenance on AC electrical components to prevent future breakdowns.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate records of installations, repairs, and maintenance performed, including materials used and time spent.
- Collaboration: Work closely with HVAC technicians and other tradespeople to ensure air conditioning systems are installed and maintained properly.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Certification as an electrician or relevant HVAC certification.
- Previous experience working as an electrician with AC units is required.
- Knowledge of electrical wiring, circuits, and components of air conditioning systems.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, electrical schematics, and technical drawings.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Knowledge of electrical safety practices and regulations.
- Physical stamina and the ability to lift heavy equipment (up to 50 pounds).
- Good communication skills and ability to work independently or as part of a team.
- Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel to job sites as needed.
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to stand, kneel, and bend for extended periods while working on electrical systems.
- Comfortable working in confined spaces, at heights, and in varying weather conditions.
- Capable of lifting and moving up to 50 pounds.
