Job Summary: We are seeking an experienced Construction Worker – Finishes to work on various construction and renovation projects. The role focuses on finishing tasks such as plastering, painting, tiling, and installing flooring to ensure high-quality final results. The ideal candidate will have expertise in interior and exterior finishes, attention to detail, and the ability to work efficiently on site.

Key Responsibilities:

• Plastering and Drywall Installation: Install and repair drywall, apply plaster, and prepare surfaces for painting and other finishes.
• Painting: Paint interior and exterior surfaces using brushes, rollers, or spray equipment, ensuring smooth and even coverage.
• Tiling: Measure, cut, and lay tiles for walls and floors, ensuring proper alignment and finishing with grout and sealant.
• Flooring Installation: Install various types of flooring, such as laminate, vinyl, hardwood, or tile, ensuring precise cutting and fitting.
• Carpentry Finishes: Install doors, windows, baseboards, and other wood trim, ensuring proper measurements and clean finishes.
• Surface Preparation: Sand, clean, and prepare walls, ceilings, and floors for finishes. Fill cracks, holes, and gaps for a smooth final result.
• Quality Control: Ensure that all finishing work meets quality standards, paying attention to the finer details to deliver a polished final product.
• Safety Compliance: Adhere to all safety regulations and guidelines while working on construction sites. Wear and use appropriate safety gear such as helmets, gloves, and protective eyewear.
• Collaboration: Work closely with other construction workers, supervisors, and subcontractors to ensure timely completion of finishing tasks.

Qualifications:

• Experience: Previous experience as a construction worker focusing on finishes is required. Experience with plastering, painting, tiling, and flooring is highly desirable.
• Technical Skills: Skilled in using hand tools and power tools specific to finishing tasks, including trowels, sanders, paint sprayers, tile cutters, and saws.
• Attention to Detail: Strong eye for detail to ensure that all finishes are smooth, clean, and properly executed.
• Problem-Solving: Ability to identify and fix issues in surfaces, materials, and structures during the finishing process.
• Teamwork: Good communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with other team members and supervisors.

Physical Requirements:
