Job Summary: We are seeking an experienced Moulder to join our team. The Moulder is responsible for operating machinery and equipment to create molded products from various materials, including metal, plastic, or concrete. This role requires precision, attention to detail, and the ability to follow specific instructions to produce high-quality molds and finished products.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Molding Operations: Set up, operate, and monitor molding machines and equipment to produce products according to specifications. This includes adjusting machine settings and loading materials.
  • Material Preparation: Prepare and handle raw materials, including mixing or heating materials as required before molding.
  • Quality Control: Inspect molded products for defects or inconsistencies. Measure and test products to ensure they meet quality standards and specifications.
  • Machine Maintenance: Perform routine maintenance on molding machines, including cleaning and lubricating components. Report any mechanical issues to maintenance personnel.
  • Process Monitoring: Monitor the molding process to ensure proper operation, including temperature control, material flow, and timing. Adjust settings as needed to maintain product quality.
  • Documentation: Maintain accurate records of production runs, including materials used, quantities produced, and any issues encountered.
  • Safety Compliance: Follow all safety procedures and guidelines while operating machinery. Wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) and maintain a clean and safe work environment.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with other team members and supervisors to ensure efficient production processes and timely completion of tasks.

Qualifications:

  • Experience: Previous experience as a moulder or in a similar role is preferred. Experience with specific molding techniques or materials is a plus.
  • Technical Skills: Ability to operate molding machinery and equipment effectively. Understanding of molding processes and materials.
  • Attention to Detail: Strong attention to detail to ensure accuracy in mold creation and product quality.
  • Problem-Solving Skills: Ability to identify and resolve issues related to molding processes or machinery.
  • Physical Stamina: Ability to perform manual labor tasks, including lifting and carrying materials, and standing for long periods.
  • Team Player: Good communication skills and the ability to work well with others in a team environment.

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to lift and carry up to 50 kg.
  • Comfortable working in a manufacturing environment with exposure to noise, heat, or other industrial conditions.
  • Ability to handle repetitive tasks and maintain focus on quality and safety.
