Job Summary: We are seeking a dedicated and efficient Warehouse Worker to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for a variety of tasks including receiving, storing, packing, and shipping merchandise. This role requires physical stamina, attention to detail, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Previous experience in a warehouse or logistics setting is preferred but not required.

Key Responsibilities:

• Receiving and Unloading: Receive and unload incoming shipments, verifying that the items match the order and inspecting for damages.
• Inventory Management: Organize and store products in the warehouse, maintaining accurate inventory records and ensuring items are easily accessible.
• Order Picking: Accurately pick products from shelves based on order specifications, preparing them for packing and shipping.
• Packing and Shipping: Pack orders securely to prevent damage during transportation, label packages correctly, and prepare them for shipment.
• Equipment Operation: Operate warehouse equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, and hand trucks to move and organize inventory.
• Quality Control: Inspect products and packaging to ensure they meet company standards and customer expectations.
• Safety Compliance: Follow all safety procedures and guidelines to maintain a safe working environment, including wearing appropriate protective gear.
• Record Keeping: Maintain accurate records of inventory, shipments, and any discrepancies, reporting issues to the supervisor as needed.
• Team Collaboration: Work closely with other warehouse staff and departments to ensure efficient operations and meet production targets.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous experience in a warehouse or logistics environment is a plus.
• Ability to lift heavy objects (up to 50 pounds) and perform physical tasks for extended periods.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Basic math and reading skills.
• Ability to operate warehouse equipment (forklift certification is a plus).
• Good communication skills and ability to work as part of a team.
• Willingness to work flexible hours, including overtime if necessary.

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull up to 50 pounds.
• Capable of standing, bending, and walking for extended periods.
• Comfortable working in a warehouse environment with varying temperatures.
